Dam Repairs in Czaniec
Location: Czaniec, Silesian Province
INTER-BUD performed repairs of the motor rooms and systems of the weir and fish pass, vanes and pillars, as well as repairs of the expansion joints and plates on the side dams of Czaniec Reservoir. All work required the use of the latest maintenance and insulation methods for reinforced concrete structures. An additional difficulty was the fact that the work had to be performed and complicated procedures had to be performed on an operating and weather-exposed hydraulic unit. The repairs were completed as scheduled, i.e. September 2004.
